Proud Mary Coffee, founded by Nolan and Sharie in 2013, began its journey in Melbourne's vibrant coffee scene. Their vision was to create an Aussie-style café experience that combined high-end food with exceptional coffee. The concept quickly gained popularity, leading to rapid expansion. In 2017, they brought this unique café culture to Portland, Oregon, establishing a roastery and marking the beginning of their U.S. operations.

Since then, Proud Mary has continued to grow, opening additional cafés in Melbourne and Austin, Texas, and recently launching a new roastery in Texas. Today, Proud Mary serves coffee enthusiasts globally, offering a diverse range of products from staple espresso blends to exclusive, award-winning deluxe coffees.​

I've been in the coffee industry for a long time. When Proud Mary opened in Portland, I was working at a different shop. The café was unlike anything I'd experienced before - high energy, a restaurant layout with a coffee bar, and an incredible food menu. After moving away for two years, I returned with the goal of working at Proud Mary. Now, I'm the Production Manager here in Portland.​

We sell through our wholesale website and are featured on Breville's subscription service, "Powered by Beans." Our main website is hosted on Shopify, and our wholesale operations use Unleashed. For shipping, we utilise USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, each designated for specific customer groups and regions.

Before integrating Shiptheory, our shipping process looked very different - we had to manually book shipments through carrier websites, which was tedious and time-consuming. There was no centralised tracking, and the process involved a lot of manual data entry, leading to errors and inefficiencies. It's been great that Shiptheory integrates directly with Unleashed, as it's made the whole process even more seamless.
