Much hard work has been going on at Shiptheory's headquarters in the first month of 2021. We have added a brand-new integration: Parcel2Go, we now offer full compatibility with the YITH WooCommerce Delivery Date plugin and introduced plenty of new features and updates to our services.

Parcel2Go Integration

We are delighted to announce that Shiptheory now integrates fully with Parcel2Go!

Suppose you want a courier comparison service that gives you access to the broadest range of couriers in the UK and streamline your e-commerce fulfilment all at the same time. In that case, Shiptheory's integration with Parcel2Go is the perfect solution.

Parcel2Go, based in Bolton, Greater Manchester is the UK's leading parcel delivery comparison website, offering small to medium retailers a cheap alternative to the Post Office.

You can browse quotes from the world's best carriers like DPD, Parcelforce, TNT, UPS, USPS, and more, and choose the service that best meets your company's needs.

Fulfil orders on your website, e-commerce channels, or online marketplaces such as Brightpearl, Magento, Shopify, eBay, Etsy, etc., as you would normally do and let Shiptheory's intelligent shipping rules engine take care of the shipping.

You can find more information about our Parcel2Go integration here.

Yith WooCommerce Delivery Date Plugin

For all our WooCommerce customers, Shiptheory is now fully compatible with YITH's WooCommerce Delivery Date plugin.

WooCommerce Delivery Date plugin allows your customers to book a specific date and time slot for the delivery of their ordered products.

You can also set a minimum of processing days for different products or categories, add a fee for specific time slots, or set a maximum number of deliveries per day. Additionally, you can select your holidays and cut off times to prevent orders from being placed during days and times you cannot deliver.

Statement of Origin on Commercial Invoices

When shipping goods into and out of the EU, several carriers might request for a general, consignment-wide description to be provided. This description is separate and in addition to the product-level data that Shiptheory automatically sends to carriers when a shipment is booked.

For every carrier that requires an overall description of a consignment, Shiptheory will provide a General Goods Description field in the respective carrier's settings.

For a comprehensive guide on how to write a general goods description in line with the European Commission's guidelines read here.

Other additions of note that we implemented in the last month:

Shopify: Support Default Commodity Country

Now Shopify users have the option to use Shopify's country of manufacture field for all the products they are shipping through Shiptheory.

UPS: Worldwide Economy Service

Shiptheory now supports both UPS Worldwide Economy DDU and UPS Worldwide Economy DDP services.

Discounted Product Prices on Integrated Labels

If a product is discounted, you have now the option to include the discounted price on your integrated labels instead of the regular price.
