Greenbrook has been supplying industry-leading electrical solutions for over 75 years, aiming for quality products at an affordable price. A lot has changed in that time.
The most recent development was our rebrand last June, which included a new logo, internal restructuring, including our switch to NetSuite, and a shift in product focus from lighting to circuit protection and commodity items. This felt like a necessary move because the business felt dated, and the lighting market was slowing down. We sell our products both online and in stores, including on Amazon and eBay, and in Screwfix and Edmunson Electrical.

We were using an outdated 1998 Infor ERP system before NetSuite, and made the switch around the same time as the rebrand. The old system was costly to maintain, lacked efficient data retrieval, and required manual intervention for online orders. This significantly hindered our operations and potential for international growth.
We chose NetSuite for its advanced capabilities, live data reporting, and extensive customisation - it was well worth the investment. Our entire workflow is now consolidated within NetSuite, and we can use SuiteApps, like Shiptheory, without having to leave the platform.

Shiptheory had been in use for a year prior to the NetSuite implementation, initially to streamline direct-to-consumer sales on Amazon and eBay. Another business recommended Shiptheory as a solution to manual shipping challenges, especially as they integrate directly with the carriers we use, such as DPD.
It improved our efficiency from the get-go; we knew having a shipping platform that linked all our marketplaces, like eBay and DIY.com, into one channel would save us hours of time, and it did. Since the NetSuite integration, we've had everything we need from both softwares functioning seamlessly together.
All of our NetSuite data is pulled into Shiptheory automatically; we don't have to keep logging in or switching between the platforms.

Automating our fulfilment and shipping has allowed us to focus more on expanding our brand, marketing and partner development. No longer having to manually process our orders or deal with out-of-date software has enabled us to optimise our time and employee skills, finding more opportunities and closing more deals.
I’d say across the whole team, since Shiptheory and NetSuite, we’re saving up to 10 hours a day, which is a lot of time to repurpose into growth initiatives. It's also resulted in an increase in order volume and therefore revenue, as printing and shipment speed is no longer a challenge for us - it's all contributed to our continuous expansion.

What’s next for Greenbrook?
Through strong branding and marketing campaigns, we’d like to see the business expand to become the "professional's choice” in the industry. We’re particularly focusing on promoting our circuit protection products, leveraging new brands such as “Power Breaker” and acquiring new licenses like “Cirpro.” Growing our partner network, product portfolio and certifications is the next part of the journey.
"Continuing to utilise the software NetSuite and Shiptheory provide, especially as they continuously work on new features, that's what has and will enable us to grow."
