New Integration: Asendia Connect Now Integrated With Shiptheory

We are excited to welcome Asendia Connect to Shiptheory's network of carrier integrations. This new integration allows UK businesses to connect their Asendia Connect account directly to Shiptheory, automating time-consuming parts of the international shipping process. Orders can be received from connected sales channels, booked with Asendia, and supplied with the correct shipping labels without the need to enter the same information across multiple systems. For e-commerce retailers and other businesses shipping internationally, this means less manual work, fewer errors, and faster order processing.

What is Asendia Connect?

Asendia is an international mail and parcel delivery specialist, helping retailers send e-commerce orders to customers around the world. Asendia Connect is Asendia's shipping platform for UK customers, connecting retailers to its international parcel delivery services.

Through Asendia Connect, businesses can access the e-PAQ range of services, including e-PAQ Standard, Plus, Select and Elite. The services available depend on what is enabled on your Asendia account, so you can choose options that suit your own international shipping requirements.

Turn Incoming Orders into Labels Without the Manual Work

Connecting Asendia Connect with Shiptheory removes the need to book individual shipments and prepare every shipping label manually.

Once an order is received through a connected sales channel, ERP, WMS or other business system, its delivery information is sent automatically to Shiptheory. The shipment can then be booked with Asendia and the correct label generated, helping warehouse teams process orders quickly and consistently.

Businesses can manage Asendia shipments alongside their other carriers from their Shiptheory account or directly within the system they already use. This makes it easier to introduce a multi-carrier shipping strategy without creating additional manual work or requiring staff to switch between different carrier platforms.

Spend Less Time Choosing Shipping Services

Shiptheory's intelligent shipping rules give businesses greater control over how their Asendia shipments are managed.

Rules can automatically assign each order to the appropriate Asendia service, along with any available enhancements, using information from each order. For example, a business could create separate rules for different destinations or assign a different e-PAQ service to orders that need a particular level of delivery.

Once configured, Shiptheory applies these rules automatically whenever a matching order is received. This reduces the number of repetitive shipping decisions warehouse teams need to make while helping ensure every parcel is sent using the intended service

Give Customers More International Delivery Options

Asendia Connect gives businesses a choice of international delivery options, from e-PAQ Standard through to Plus, Select and Elite.

Through Shiptheory, businesses can configure these services around their own fulfilment needs, offering greater delivery flexibility while continuing to manage shipments through one central platform.

Keep Parcels Moving with Less Customs Admin

International shipping means more information to get right. When a shipment is booked, Shiptheory sends product and shipment information to Asendia as part of the booking, so the details travel with the parcel.

Businesses can configure shipment values and country of manufacture defaults, and choose who pays import duties and taxes. Setting these once reduces manual edits on individual orders and helps keep international shipments moving through fulfilment.

Connect your UK Account

Setting up Asendia Connect in Shiptheory is simple. You will need the API key and GB-prefixed CRM ID supplied by your Asendia account manager. Once these are entered, you can select the services available to your business and begin configuring your shipping rules.
