Q: GIVE US A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON THE PALOMA STORY, WHAT YOU DO AND WHERE YOU STARTED

Our concept is simple, Paloma was born out of the need to find a perfect white shirt that can do it all and has as little impact on the planet as possible. We want to change shopping habits and help women buy less, buy better and wear clothes more.

To do this we set out to create wardrobe staples that will last season after season - starting with the perfect white shirt. The only item which can be worn to the beach and the boardroom - yet the options out there were limited. So, designed between London and Stockholm we spent 2 years perfecting the fabric, shape and intricate details until the Paloma shirt was born. We have carefully perfected every area of our business and the shipping was going to be no exception.

Q: WHAT MAKES YOUR SHIRT UNIQUE COMPARED TO OTHER BRANDS

We're a small business trying to do big things in an industry that has a long way to go. our core values are Limited, Slow fashion and consciously created.

Our biggest value is responsible slow fashion to work towards a more sustainable future. At Paloma, we embrace slow production in every sense, only ever creating a limited number of pieces to ensure minimal waste and we are committed to the traceability of our materials and processes.

Q: WHERE DO YOU SELL YOUR PRODUCTS AND WHAT SALES CHANNELS AND CARRIERS DO YOU USE

Paloma HQ is in Richmond, London UK and we are an online business that showcases our products through Shopify.

As for carriers we mostly DHL and Parcelforce all through CSM logistics.

Q: HOW DOES SHIPTHEORY AS A SOLUTION FIT INTO YOUR BUSINESS?

Shiptheory was our launch partner, so we've been using it since July and love it. The logistics and software side of the Paloma business was something completely new for us and so, we had little prior knowledge of where to start. Shiptheory held our hand through the entire onboarding process, we were printing our labels in no time which allowed us to focus on our eCommerce sales.

The way we think of it is, Shopify does a great job at making our business look beautiful to shoppers Shiptheory makes the behind the scenes back-end work seamlessly without the two our business wouldn't function.

Q : WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WAS SHIPTHEORYS BEST FEATURE?

We would have to say the customer support by real experts our account manager has helped every step of the way on hand anytime we had questions or wanted to run a test.

Being a new founder with no experience in the backend software this gave me the confidence to launch earlier than expected and scale faster.

Shiptheory has allowed us to focus on scaling the business, launching to market quicker without worrying about the shipping side of things and how they integrate with Shopify and CSM which is amazing.
