What do I need to get started?
You need a Shiptheory account, which is free if you ship less than 100 orders per month. You will also need to have a Royal Mail OBA (Online Business Account). If you do not yet have an OBA with Royal Mail, you can apply for one from Royal Mail here. It only takes 2 minutes to connect your Royal Mail OBA and Shiptheory accounts. This guide will get you up-and-running booking shipments in no time!
Will my labels show in the OBA?
Shiptheory bills any labels created by you to your Royal Mail OBA account. Each time you create a Royal Mail manifest in Shiptheory, a new bill will be added to your OBA account that will show you a break down of what services you used and how much Royal Mail charged you.
I do not have an OBA account. Can I use Shiptheory?
Yes. If you are already shipping with Royal Mail, you can activate your OBA Account here. If you are not already shipping with Royal Mail, you will need to create an account before using Shiptheory.
How much does it cost?

Can I use a bar code scanner with Royal Mail?

How do I print Royal Mail labels from Shopify or WooCommerce?

Will my orders upload into Click & Drop or DMO?
No. Shiptheory connects directly with your OBA account. You no longer need to use Click & Drop or DMO.
