From sunny Bristol to the United States, the Shiptheory team have been hard at work this March. With news about our new US office, exciting new integrations to what3words and Katana, upcoming webinar info and more, there's something here for Shiptheory customers of all sizes.

Shiptheory is going Stateside: Our new US office

We're excited to announce that Shiptheory is in the process of opening its first office based in the USA! Our founders James and Mark have just returned from a productive view weeks scoping out the location of our new office and meeting some great people from Brightpearl, FedEx and BigCommerce.

"But what does this mean for me?"

Don't worry, the Shiptheory you know and love is here to stay - we're just making it easier than ever to help US-based businesses ship smarter. Our support times are now extending to 11pm GMT/BST, making it easier for US retailers to reach our support team. Keep an eye out for updates on the location of our new office!

New Integration: what3words

We're delighted to announce that Shiptheory is now fully compatible with what3words, whose unique solution could revolutionize shipping and logistics.

what3wordshave divided the whole planet into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and given each a unique combination of three words, making it easy to designate incredibly specific delivery locations, helping to eliminate frustration at the latter stages of the delivery process.

Companies using Shiptheory can now replace certain address fields in Shiptheory with a what3words field. To learn more about what3words and how to set it up in your Shiptheory account, check out our launch blog and support docs.

New Integration: Katana

We're excited to announce that Shiptheory now directly integrates with Katana, a manufacturing ERP software built to give you visibility and control over all the moving parts of your business: inventory, sales, and beyond.

Starting out in 2017, Katana are already making big waves in the eCommerce world, and now with Shiptheory's integration  To find out a little more about how Katana can help scale your business and work seamlessly with your existing Shiptheory account, check out our launch blog.

'The Paperless Warehouse' Webinar

We're teaming up with Stok.ly to show you how retailers can benefit from moving to a paperless warehouse and adopting digital technologies to your warehouse operations all the while enhancing your eco-credentials.

Our Paperless Warehouse webinar is at 12:30 BST on Thursday 13th March, so make sure you reserve your spot! If you're interested in learning a little more, check out this article from Iain Coplans on the impact transitioning to a paperless warehouse can have on your business.

Customer Spotlight: Jimmy's Iced Coffee

This month, we'd like to say a big thanks to Jimmy's Iced Coffee, who sent us this thoughtful bundle after our team helped set them up. We're always looking for new products to stock our vending machine with to keep our team refreshed and energized throughout the work week - the only problem is we got through them a little too quickly...

Over the last 15 years Jimmy' has grown from a brother and sister duo packaging orders in a bedsit to become one of the most iconic iced coffee brands, stocked in the UK and beyond. If you're interested in grabbing some Jimmy's for yourself, whether that's in-store or via a subscription, visit their site to explore their range of products and find out where you can pick some up.

Coming soon:

NetSuite: We're about to launch our integration with NetSuite, a cloud-based business management platform that helps companies manage ERP/financials, CRM, eCommerce and inventory. The integration will offer full Shiptheory functionality to NetSuite users.

Canada Post: Canada's reliable national provider, Canada Post, is next up on our list of carrier integrations and will be released shortly, allowing Shiptheory users in North America even greater carrier variety.
