Royal Mail's express parcel service, provided by Parcelforce Worldwide, have started offering their globalpriority return service to Australia.
The Parcelforce globalpriority return service is already available in 17 EU countries, including The Netherlands, Lithuania, France, Germany and several others. However Australia is the first country outside of the EU to support the priority returns service by Royal Mail and Parcelforce.
Returning an item from Australia to the UK will take 3-4 days with the globalpriority returns service.
The move by Royal Mail to provided a tracked priority returns service to Australia will no doubt extend to other countries gradually. Australia makes sense as a first stop, being one of Parcelforce's most popular international destinations. According to Royal Mail, Australians are the 5th wealthiest people in the world, with the 12th biggest economy worldwide.
