Events in the eCommerce world, whether online or offline, are fantastic opportunities to both grow your network and learn valuable new skills. In person events in particular are taking off again post-Covid. People love the chance to meet people in the flesh who they've been chatting to online for years.
Today, we're focusing on what opportunities exist for NetSuite users to rub shoulders with the best in the business, both in person and via online events. However you use NetSuite, we've found something that could be perfect for you to learn something new, or meet someone new!
NetSuite Specific Events
The events in the following section are either run specifically by NetSuite and their partners, or directly for their users. These events are likely to be hyper focused around NetSuite itself rather than the general ecosystem, and are a great opportunity to meet likeminded professionals.
SuiteWorld 2022
Where: Caesar’s Forum, 3911 Koval Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (also accessible online as a virtual event)
When: September 27th-30th

- SuiteWorld Las Vegas Full Access Pass: $1795 (Existing NetSuite customers to network and learn)
- SuiteWorld OnAir All Access: $195 (for NetSuite users unable to attend Las Vegas for the event)
- SuiteWorld On Air Discover Pass: $0 (for people not currently using NetSuite, but considering it)
SuiteWorld is NetSuite's annual conference covering all things NetSuite. As above, it's being hosted in Las Vegas this year, but don't worry if you can't make the trip - there's a whole load of content available online too. It's worth investigating to see if it's worth you making the trip, or if you can achieve your goals from home (although who doesn't want to visit Vegas?)
SuiteWorld is sure to have some valuable content for you, with training, workshops, keynote speakers and more. It's not just for users either - there's a tailored partner experience that's open to NetSuite partners of all levels. It's also worth keeping an eye out for events around SuiteWorld too, as other companies will often host their own get-togethers.
We think that this Happy Hour event hosted by SystemsAccountants is a great example of an event you can attend to explore the ecosystem and grow your network. Whatever your relationship with NetSuite, there's undoubtedly some value that can be obtained from SuiteWorld. Suite Fundamentals and On Demand

How Much: Free for NetSuite users
Whilst not strictly a single event, NetSuite love to host webinars full of educational content for their users. Being hosted on their own site, you can trust that the advice and resources given to you here will be from NetSuite experts. This is called their Suite Fundamentals series, and there are currently two upcoming events you can register for:
- Optimize the Procurement Process: Thursday 25th August, 10-10:30 am (Pacific Time)
- Find Your Key Revenue Drivers Using Analytics: Thursday 8th September, 10–10:30 am (Pacific Time)
What's more, any events that you've missed are recorded and available to watch at your leisure in the On Demand section of the website. There are hundreds of catchup videos available, so it's worth taking a look. You may find one or two that can be perfectly applied to your business!
Salesforce Focused NetSuite Integration, hosted by Breadwinner
Where: Off The Rails Brewing Co., 111 S Murphy Ave, Sunnyvale, CA
When: Wednesday 14th September, 6-8pm (Pacific Time)
How Much: Free
If you're in the market for a NetSuite SalesForce integration, this could be an event for you. This event is hosted by Breadwinner, who provide a native Salesforce integration app that creates a two way connection between NetSuite and SalesForce.
The event aims to bring together the San Francisco and Silicon Valley NetSuite community, so even if you're not 100% sold on Breadwinner by the end of the event, you have a chance to rub shoulders with some NetSuite eCommerce bigwigs. This is the perfect opportunity to grow your circle and potentially find out about future events tailored towards the Silicon Valley NetSuite community. If that's up your street, you can register for the event on MeetUp.
NetSuite eCommerce Events
Whilst events hosted by NetSuite or aimed directly at NetSuite customers are going to have a wealth of relevant information, it's important not to rule out general eCom events. These are great places to meet like-minded professionals in the same space as you who aren't guaranteed to use NetSuite, but may face similar issues and be looking for similar situations.
Likewise, events like these are great places to find new technology to supplement your tech-stack and make your life even easier. With that in mind, here are a few eCommerce events that could be valuable additions to your calendar in the next year.
eCommerce Expo 2022
Where: ExCel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL
When: 28th-29th September
How Much: Free to attend
Whilst overlapping with SuiteWorld, eCommerce Expo is a huge event taking place in London and hosting thousands from the eCommerce ecosystem from all over the world. It's also a perfect example of the type of event where NetSuite professionals could find new technologies to supplement their existing operation.
For example, the Shiptheory team will be exhibiting at the event, and we're looking to speak to any NetSuite retailers to help with their shipping needs (we recently wrote about how shipping automation can transform your NetSuite operations, if you're interested to learn more).
We're just an example of one of the 300 solution providers that could help your business. There are also 10 conference theatres, where you can listen to talks on a variety of themes, and plenty of networking opportunities too. Whether you're based in the UK, Europe, or anywhere in the world, eCommerce Expo is definitely an event worth investigating. You can apply to attend on the eCommerce Expo website.
eCommerce Summits
Where: Various in US and UK
When: Various dates September 2022-July 2023
How Much: 100$/£ for visitors, 1000$/£ for exhibitors
We hear you - these events can involve a lot of travelling and expense. As useful as they can be, it's a lot of resource to invest. That's the advantage of the eCommerce Summit series.
Retail Summits are hosting a number of events for eCommerce professionals of all sizes, from enterprise to small businesses, and they're scattered mainly throughout the US. This means that wherever you are, there should be an event relatively close to you. The currently scheduled events can be found in:
