We're excited to announce the launch of our new NetSuite integration. NetSuite is a cloud-based business management software that helps companies manage core business processes with a single, fully integrated system covering ERP/financials, CRM, eCommerce, inventory and more.

Shiptheory fully integrates with NetSuite to help users automatically book shipments, print shipping labels, create order fulfilments and more.

Shiptheory and NetSuite

NetSuite boasts an impressive range of features to help manage, analyse and grow your eCommerce business, including:

Now, NetSuite users can integrate with Shiptheory to make managing their shipping easier and more efficient too. Get started by connecting your NetSuite account to Shiptheory so you can import sales orders and ship anywhere around the world with our selection of 50+ carriers, including USPS, FedEx and UPS.

Automate your NetSuite shipping process

With Shiptheory’s intelligent shipping rules engine, you can automate your entire shipping process based on certain conditions. Create rules based on carrier, shipping destination, value, product SKUs and more.

The Shiptheory dashboard allows you to keep track of all of your eCommerce orders from different platforms in one dashboard, with analytics and multi-user access to enable a smooth experience for your whole team.

What else can I do with NetSuite and Shiptheory?

A Shiptheory integration doesn't just allow you to automatically print NetSuite shipping labels and connect you to 50+ local and global carriers including UPS, USPS, DHL and Evri.

There are plenty of other advantages, and we've left a few of them here with links to our support documentation, in case you want to make the most of these settings:

  • Item fulfilments: Advanced settings give you  the ability to create order fulfilment off the back of a sale. Use the item fulfilment status to control which status you would like your item fulfilments to be created as. If you're downloading item fulfilments instead of sales orders into Shiptheory, then this setting will control what status your downloaded item fulfilment will be updated to in NetSuite.
  • Send tracking info back to NetSuite: Customers can become impatient if they don't receive tracking details for their order shortly after purchase. Shiptheory can return a tracking number and a tracking link to NetSuite via item fulfilment custom fields, making it easier to keep your customers satisfied and regularly updated.
  • Customs information: Use custom fields to gather customs data in Shiptheory, including customs commodity code, commodity description, country of manufacture and commodity composition.
  • Sender address fallback information: Add fallback information for fields such as company name and first name in case of incomplete sender addresses pulled from NetSuite.
