Q: Give us a little background on Web Control, how you support merchants, how you work with netSuite and a little about the story!?

We are an ERP Alliance Partner to NetSuite. The last 25 years we've been working with Manufacturing and Wholesale Distribution companies, supporting, developing and consulting on their ERP needs.

In 2024 we won the NetSuite Partner of the year award for growth.

Q: What Shipping challenges have you faced when providing solutions for your clients?

Typically when you're working with a Manufacturing company or Wholesale distribution company, they have some areas that are not standard ERP or some practices that are a little unique to them! We are able to use our technical abilities to ensure NetSuite aligns to those needs.

Q: How has Shiptheory helped you overcome these challenges?

We initially collaborated with Shiptheory really early on in both of our NetSuite journeys. We really enjoyed working with them, and we could see they were a company with the same values as ourselves. It's great when you work with a partner that is as reactive as we are. If there's an issue, they will jump on a call and it gives the customer confidence that you're all working towards resolving that problem.

As an example, we had a recent customer that was about to go live. It became a very last minute requirement for a shipping integration. They were up and running with Shiptheory in less than a day.

We've worked with other solutions in the past where sometimes it takes a little while to get those answers or to get someone on a call.

Q: How Would you evaluate your partnership with shiptheory?

They focus on what they're really good at and really deliver a really solid, brilliant solution. You just don't have to worry about it.

It extends our abilities to ensure when we're implementing for a customer, that we can support them not just in the ERP journey, but actually in that whole ecosystem they need.

The integration works, your data's going directly from NetSuite to these shipping carriers, you are instantly getting back tracking numbers, there's no manual intervention. That's huge. It helps us because that means that prebuilt connector just works out the box for us. That removes the development to build that integration.
